The result is an excellent, unique line of beautiful, bold, Patina-centric Goodyear Welted shoes of excellent workmanship. Priced far lower than other brands of this quality. When I ordered my first pair, the “Blaze,” the unboxing experience was sublime. Beautiful Box and packaging, a high shined pair of brogued wholecuts that I wore with no need for further finishing. The stitch count is 8spi on a unique black leather sole. The fit is perfect … I wore them all day right out of the box. And, of course, the matching belt. Even more value at the same modest price. People have noticed. They give compliments.

“This was my first MTO shoe so I didn’t have much to base the experience on, but I can tell you for sure, that the customer service level that Joshua & his team brings, puts J.Rozario and their shoes on a level that should cost at least twice or more and I haven’t even told you about the amazing shoes yet! The founder, Joshua and I spent a good hour on a video call going over the design specifications that I wanted from size to color to broguing, etc. but I also let him have a free hand too and I think you will agree that the end result is stunning! Their team was in communication with me at least once a week during the 6 week process, keeping me informed of where the shoe was in production and so forth as we went. Once the shoes were made, (in Spain, by the way, where many of the top names in shoes come from,) they then sent it to their custom patina artist who turned the basic British tan blucher… into these gorgeous beauties.”

“I’m pleasantly surprised by my new J. Rozario wingtips with a hand-painted patina. Upon unboxing the shoes, I immediately noticed the beautiful last which is very balanced and compliments the wingtip design perfectly. I couldn’t wait to put them on! Another pleasant surprise was sizing. I went with my standard 8.5D and the fit was excellent – due to my narrow heel, many times I have to size down, making the shoe uncomfortable. Thankfully, these shoes have a wonderful definition in the heel and the heel cup just “grabs” my heel for a comfortable fit. The shoes have a solid arch support as evidenced by my 12-hour day wearing them. No break-in period needed! For $350, I’m not sure there is a better shoe out there!”
